“Dil Chahta Hai”, story of triads

How many of us have watched the bollywood blockbuster movie “Dil Chahta Hai” starring Aamir khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay kanna. The movie was colossal success and myriad of appreciations. Here is the story depicting the real life trios who turned “Dil Chata Hai”.

About the trios, likely oriented interests, uncertainly focussed, unpredictable behaviour, ruthless coordination are some of their characteristics, above all they are the best pals and proud members of “brotherhood”. They lived as a family. Lux is the heartthrob of girls, polished; Sana is the most annoying but loyal, funny, smart bravado and pooj is a proactively left liberal ideologist, footballer. Eventually the trios created a wave and represented their genre in multiple events, ultimately the underdogs rose into stardom. The triads were caught under constant censure, stigma and mockery, inevitably these led to their massive success and praise. On the flipside, they are born rebels, who wanted to annihilate the dogmas and spread the message of “friendship”.

In one instance, they performed a group dance (a song from Dil Chahta Hai) in the stage in front of a massive audience. After watching the triads dance, the audience erupted with vociferous screams, howling like owls, cacophonous as crows and luckily no slippers or rotten eggs. But with high spirits and faith the triads completed the song. This wasn’t the end, but it was the start of a great journey. The triads performed in many stages of different genres of audience and the story is the same.

The objectives of the triads were to outcome paranoia and phobia. Has they been successful? Certainly and the unique ingredient for this bond is “friendship”. Unlike in the movie, they were never separated, even though the triads are in the different corners of the world their spirits are pervasive. Many engineered and tried to disunite them, infuse inflammatory polemics among them, but faied. Apparently they realized that their bond is rather difficult than dismantling an atom bomb.

As the triads are celebrating their decade old friendship, numerous questions arises. What is the unique chemistry behind this friendship? How did they organized and maintained this bond? Can they fail? Will they be responsible for the collapse? Let’s be optimistic and wait.

This is just the beginning; more blogs about them will be issued soon...sooner...

A well wisher of the triads
